Before time itself, there was only the Great God—the One Who Shapes. It is said that He forged the world from the void, sculpting mountains with His hands and filling the seas with His breath.
To govern His creation, He birthed twelve divine beings—the gods who would rule over the land, sky, and seas. In the center of this new world, He planted the Sacred Tree, a divine entity said to hold the essence of creation itself. It gave magic to the world, nurtured life, and connected all things.
But the gods, despite being born of the Great God, feared the tree. They saw it as a force that could one day surpass them, as its roots stretched deep into the unknown. In secret, they conspired to destroy it.
One fateful night, they struck it down, severing its connection to the heavens. Magic flooded the world uncontrollably, reshaping the land.
The destruction of the Sacred Tree led to a great war among the gods. Some sought to restore the balance, while others wished to claim the power of the fallen tree for themselves.
This war lasted centuries, with celestial beings clashing in the heavens and their battles scarring the land below. The Great God, enraged by their folly, cast them down and sentenced them to a thousand years of penance.
On the 432nd Scarlet Night, the fabric of reality weakened, tearing open rifts between dimensions. Beings from the Dreamrealm, Feywild, and unknown realms poured into Fildoria.
The gods sent angels to contain the chaos, but their efforts failed. Ultimately, the Supreme God intervened, sealing the rifts in 478 DA. However, by then, many interdimensional beings had integrated into Fildorian society, forever changing its history.
To restore balance after the wars and the Veil’s rupture, the Great God empowered select beings as Omni Lords—champions meant to maintain order between Chaos and Order.
These beings sealed monstrous invaders in Havoc Marsh and stood as protectors of the world. But as centuries passed, their power waned, and some were lost to time.
The current era is one of uncertainty. The world has advanced greatly, land has divided into cities and kingdoms. Influence of Gods & Deities is widespread.
Some believe this is the dawn of a golden age; others fear the world teeters on the brink of catastrophe.
